Spiritual battles are real and they exist because the physical is controlled by the spiritual realm, and because we have an enemy that contends with us from the spiritual realm.
Ephesians 6:12 says “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Our victory in the spiritual realm translates to our victory in the physical realm. Jesus has paid the price for our victory through His death. But we have a responsibility to enforce that victory over the affairs of our life, and make that victory our physical reality in any and every area of our lives, including our health, finances, family, businesses, careers, and so on.
